Our group booked four rooms: family, triple, double, and single. Prior to our stay, I contacted the hotel to request that all rooms be located close to each other on the same floor. The hotel was very accommodating and arranged for us to stay on Level 5, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is incredibly central, within walking distance (max 10 minutes) to all the main attractions. Right on the doorstep, there are numerous shops, including a coffee shop, souvenir stores, convenience stores , a pharmacy, and plenty of bars and restaurants, which made everything very convenient. A special mention goes to the restaurant manager, who handled breakfast in the mornings. He was so friendly, helpful, and caring. My parents had difficulty with the stairs leading up to the restaurant, and on the days they couldn't manage, he kindly packed food so we could take their breakfast down to them. He even went above and beyond by offering to make us sandwiches for our early morning flight, which was incredibly thoughtful. The breakfast itself was impressive, but his kindness made the experience even better. The staff were helpful — the reception team was welcoming, and the concierge was fantastic at getting us taxis quickly, even in a busy area. The level of cleanliness was impressive throughout our stay. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. We would also be happy to stay here again ourselves in the future and recommend to family and friends visiting Istanbul.

I would like to give a good review for the Golden Horn Hotel. We had an accomodation for our couple in the deluxe room for 3 days from 23 to 26 November. Though the hotel is an old variant, it was renovated several years ago and the interior is looking quite fresh now. Our room was designed and decorated very nicely in the old Osman style. Everything was comfortable and in proper working condition. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The best thing about the hotel is it's location in the center of Old City (SultanAhmet region) with all the main landmarks places in the walking distance (5 min from Haya Sofia and Zisterna Basilica). And of course it's beautiful roof terrace restaurant with fantastic views on Istanbul city and Golden horn bay! And very very very tasty, delicious breakfast that we had every morning!!! Especial thanks to the customer relations manager Seçkin Kaya who did the best job for the guests! It was so pleasant 😊 to enjoy the special coffee ☕ service from you every morning, my friend! Thank you! 🙏 So, my recommendation to all guests and my best wishes for the prosperity of Golden Horn Hotel! I hope to stay here again my next visit to Istanbul!

The location is ideal for exploring the historic parts of Istanbul, and the hotel has a welcoming, authentic feel. The food was excellent, and the hospitality top-notch. The only small downside was the size of the room—it was a bit tight for a family with a child. However, the overall experience more than made up for it. My stay at the Golden Horn Hotel was truly amazing. I enjoyed every moment of it. When booking, I had requested a quiet room since I was traveling with an elderly person. To my surprise, we were given a beautifully luxurious room with a breathtaking view. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had all the necessary amenities – a big thank you for this generous gesture. There’s one person I’d especially like to highlight Mr. Seckin. He was incredibly hospitable and made us feel so comfortable during breakfast every day. He would kindly ask if he could prepare a delicious omelet or menemen for us, freshly made with care. After breakfast, he would even serve us some delightful Turkish coffee. What stood out to me the most is that I never once saw Mr. Seckin without a smile. He radiates positivity not just towards guests, but also towards his colleagues. That truly makes a difference. Thank you so much for the wonderful service. I will definitely return. It felt like a home away from home!

Location of the hotel is perfect, in the centre, just a few minutes walk to the Hagia Sofia, Sultanahmet square, Topkapi Palace, Archaeological museum and the rest of the landmarks of Istanbul. Even the famous Galata bridge and tower can be reached on foot. The tram stop is just at the end of the street (I highly recommend the use of public transport in Istanbul - it is very convenient, safe, cheap, fast etc etc, as any other european city). The rooms are a bit small and outdated, but the cleaninless is on high level, so one compensates the other. The bathrooms are ok, only the sink was too small. All the members of the staff are quite polite, helpful, especially Seckin Kaya who was incharge for the breakfast. The hotel has free parking spots just in front of the main entrance which is very convenient.
